Πεπαλαιωμένη ξυλόγλυπτη εικόνα Παναγία Ρόδον Αμάραντο. Είναι φιλοτεχνημένη σε φυσικό ξύλο λεύκας και στολισμένη με εικαστικώς παλαιωμένα διακοσμητικά. Η εικόνα είναι σε Λιθογραφία πάνω σε πλεκτό ύφασμα από λινάρι.
Είναι κατασκευασμένη με μεράκι από έμπειρους τεχνίτες και αυτό αντικατοπτρίζεται στο τελικό αποτέλεσμα που αποτελεί ένα μοναδικό κομμάτι δεξιοτεχνίας και υψηλής αισθητικής.
Η διάστασή της είναι 55x38cm και έχει ενισχυθεί με βερνίκωση για να έχει την μέγιστη αντοχή στον χρόνο και στις φθορές.

Παναγία Ρόδον Αμάραντον
Στην εικόνα η Υπεραγία Θεοτόκος κρατά το Θείο Βρέφος στο δεξί της χέρι και στο αριστερό της χέρι υπάρχει ένα μπουκέτο από κρίνους. Αυτό το μπουκέτο συμβολικά δηλώνει το αμάραντο άνθος της Αειπαρθένου.Τιμάται ιδιαιτέρως στη Ρωσία στη Μόσχα και άλλες πόλεις, στους Αγίους Τόπους τη συναντούμε στο παρεκκλήσιο της αγίας Μαρίας της Μαγδαληνής, και στον Πειραιά στον Ιερό Ναό της Παναγίας «Ρόδον Αμάραντον», όπου εορτάζει κάθε χρόνο στον Ακάθιστο Ύμνο.
