Αρσενίου (1894-1975), που έζησε για πολλά χρόνια στην κόλαση των σταλινικών στρατοπέδων. Ο χαρισματούχος και πολύπαθος αυτός στάρετς του 20ού αι. σήκωσε χριστομίμητα τον προσωπικό του σταυρό, σκόρπισε απλόχερα γύρω του την παρηγοριά, κήρυξε έμπρακτα το μεγαλείο της αγάπης, απέδειξε με θαύματα την ακαταμάχητη δύναμη της προσευχής και έφερε κοντά στον Κύριο αναρίθμητες ψυχές, δίνοντας στον καθένα μας ένα συγκλονιστικό παράδειγμα μαρτυρίου και μαρτυρίας της πίστεως.
